- No official recognition: the names assigned to stars through buyastar.eu are not recognised by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), government bodies, astronomical observatories or any other official scientific authority.
- Purely celebratory purpose: the product purchased (personalised digital certificate and related materials) represents a symbolic gesture intended as a gift or personal keepsake, with no legal or scientific value.
By purchasing a product on buyastar.eu, the user declares to have understood and accepted the purely symbolic nature of the service.
