Consumer Rights

As a consumer resident in the European Union, you are protected by mandatory EU consumer law when you buy from buyastar.eu. This page summarises those rights in plain language.

1. Pre-contractual information

Before you buy, you have the right to clear, accurate information about the product, its total price (including any taxes), the identity and contact details of the Owner, and the essential characteristics of what you are purchasing — as required by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

2. Right of withdrawal

EU law grants a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. This right does not apply to digital content whose execution has begun with your prior express consent — such as our personalised digital certificate once it has been delivered. You confirm this consent at checkout, in line with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

3. Legal guarantee of conformity

The digital content you receive must match its description and function as expected. Under Directive (EU) 2019/770 on the supply of digital content and services, you are entitled to a remedy if the certificate is not delivered, is corrupted, or is materially non-compliant.

4. Refunds

You are entitled to a full refund if the digital certificate cannot be delivered due to a fault on our side, if the file is corrupted or non-compliant, or in the event of a duplicate charge. Refund requests can be sent to dream@buyastar.eu within 14 days of purchase, quoting your order number.

5. Data protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Out-of-court dispute resolution

If you have a complaint we cannot resolve, you can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

7. Mandatory rights are always preserved

Nothing in our Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any right granted to you as a consumer by mandatory EU law.
